Shauna teaches yoga from the heart
Grateful for her opportunities to study with many accomplished teachers, therapists and healers, Shauna shares her knowledge with excitement and joy.
Her style is engaging and inspiring, filled with clear instructions that allow even a beginner to feel confident in her class.
Trained in the alignment-based YogaWorks style of teaching (RYT-500), Shauna is also a Yoga Therapist and has completed advanced studies in Yoga for Cancer, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Yoga for the Back and the Great Yoga Wall®.
Her most influential teachers are Judith Lasater, Nischala Joy Devi, and Brian Dorfman.
Shauna loves working individually with those facing a cancer diagnosis, chronic illnesses and the physical changes of middle age and beyond. Her yoga system is designed to ease symptoms and support individuals in living a more present and peaceful life.
Shauna has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and is a member of The International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is a Lululemon Ambassador representing Negotiating Cancer®: Yoga for Wellness and Recovery,
her program for inspiring wellness in the midst of dis-ease.

Over a dozen years ago, I hobbled into my first yoga class with tight hamstrings, chronic neck and shoulder pain, and a heavy heart. Yoga not only opened my hamstrings and released my shoulder pain, but it also opened my heart and lightened my emotional load. I am passionate about sharing the healing potential of yoga with others.
